A question to all. Has any one used or put on the roof of the camper any of the rubber coatings offered from let say camping world? If so does it work. If not do you think it would be a good idea to coat the roof. Another idea I have is to Rhino line the roof. What do you think?

To answer your question on the rear plate. It can not be higher than 54" and no lower than 12" from the ground measured from the center of the plate. If you drive the rig at night the plate needs to be lighted at visible to the rear approx. 200'

I just insured my truck and camper set up... in Cali. the ins. comp. have different prices for certain vehicle combinations. make sure you tell them you have a truck camper and pick up....My insurance prices went down twice....I have 21st cent. Hey I just bought an 04 grandby on Sat......and I bought an f250 the week before........the one thing I did was to measure the cabover to make sure it fit over the cab and the height of the side of the camper. you could also check the FWC site for fit.........I was also looking in to a diesel...
