RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Has anybody built a frame to set the camper on while camping?

If I remember correctly you can't use the camper when it is off the truck unless the floor is supported. Has anybody built a frame to set the camper on so you can take it off the truck while camping? I was thinking about some type of folding metal frame that can be carried on trips that...

Finished power and audio video jacks. Grey is inverter 110, white shore power, 12V power points. Coax jack for sat tv and RCAs for Ipod or sound input to camper stereo. I put the outlets up in the corner because this way the electrical cords are out of the way. Party time! 6" speakers...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West What retrofit heater?

How about a new furnace? Mine doesn't have a pilot. It is electronic ignition. I know a lot of people talk about catalytic heaters but they seem to have more risk of death than a regular furnace? FYI I don't know anything about heating... Just asking.

I got this idea from Paclow but changed it a little to fit my camper and needs. Three things I hate about the stock bench seat: To access the storage area under the bench seat I have to remove the seat cushion (which usually has a bunch of stuff on it) The seat cushion is not attached and is...

I use a 1000W xantrex x power inverter. I use it to run tv, laptop, charge electronic device batteries, and Christmas lights. It is mounted under the bench seat and permantly wired to a built in inverter 110V system of power outlets: I'm making changes to this though.

I put this in a long time ago when I first got the camper so I don't remember what parts I used. They look like the extend a T that Jim posted. It works very well. The hose is long enough to go under the truck and to the table I use over on the window side of the camper. The bungee cord is...

No flash and taken at night so the pics are bad. Reading with LED. The light is ok for reading and doing work in the camper but if connected to external power than I would use the std bulbs because they are brighter (and a lot cheaper too) Reading with LED and Std bulb

I do a lot of wild camping so I need to conserve batt power. In the factory interior light fixtures I replaced one of the 1156 bulbs with a LED PCB. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=OTHER I put one of these LED units in each fixture. This way I can use LED...
