RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West How did you tie down your FWC or ATC to your Colorado ZR2

Hello, and welcome aboard to WTW. I'm a long time Other Brand truck guy, needing a newer truck than I've already got and just considering looking into the truck you own. I'm curious... Did Stan WHY they can't mount the camper at the factory or why they have no mounting solution? Is there...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Truck bed - slight crack visible -

And, you may want to think about some truck bed to frame rail attachment brackets. I've got a lot of washboard dirt miles on my Ranger and ATC Bobcat camper, no issues.

You are all welcome. Helping is a thing I like to do. - - - - - - - - - - - - Now shall we get to flying lessons in GoogleEarth? One on my most fun and rewarding things is to fly around (in GoogleEarth, well, real life, too) an area that I wish to visit, camp, etc. That's probably too hard...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Front End Rebuild on our Ford Ranger

Nice job. I had to do that on my 2000 Ranger at about 160,000. And, I did replace the bearing hub assemblies, at the same time with Ford units and then again with Timken units, last year at 220,000, as the second set of Ford parts (at 160,000) didn't go the same distance as the factory installed...

Yep, that is annoying. Go to "Tools" on the main menu bar at the top, click on it and then select "Options". When you get the popup window, click on the top tab "Navigation", then find the "Do Not automatically tilt while zooming" and click it to activate that feature. I also like to have the...

Here is is the Aluminium horizontal frame section (below the wood in the "C" channel) that you are screwing into. If the interior wall panel is screwed at the top, and you don't have the arctic pack Velcro covering the screws you can undo the screws and see this area by peeking in from the top...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Plywood pad behind front rubber bumpers ? 2012 HAWK

I just thought it prudent to contact THE authority on this matter, as waiting for an FWC Hawk owner on WTW to say what was on their Hawk would only be one point of information among many possibilities. And, how many Hawk owners would see that question, and take the time to answer. The FWC folks...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Plywood pad behind front rubber bumpers ? 2012 HAWK

You just need a small gap between the top front of the truck bed and the camper, so there is no "wear" on the camper. That dimension could be different for different makes/models of trucks, depending on how much the top front of the truck bed sticks aft of the actual truck bed at the cargo box...
