Dang, the vendors sure are proud of their propane mounts. I want to mount my 5 Gal propane bottle on outside of my new to me trailer. I've searched and all are pretty expensive. I guess because of safety issue? What are you using? I'm not cheap but some cost twice as much as a new filled bottle :(

I will assume you have the Tacoma bed rails in it for your fleet. I have had my Hawk in my F250 since 2015. Never heard of anyone complaining about FWC slipping. There have been issues with turnbuckles loosening and even breaking. Do you have locknuts on your turnbuckles? Maybe they are coming...

I use Goo Gone on the outside so probably work on inside too? I cover with 303 protectant you may want to also.

An FYI... I have F250 with Hawk made for it. If I had the ports I would not be able to add or remove a plug. Would probably be able to leave an extension cord plugged in but not even sure of that? If just for charging the Camper, when needed, you could possibly hard wire some how?
