I use RakAttach.com and very satisfied. Mine swings to driver side (is an option) that way when swung open I can access shaded awning side without walking around. BIG drawback is the reduced departure angle especially if using cargo basket.

We too use the Rakattach.com swing-out carrier. Works great for a cargo rack or bicycle rack. Keeps things out of the way and easy to pack back up.

Camelracer, I think you may have a solution. I too am having same issue. Seems like if I turn on and off a few times it works as desired. I will spray contact cleaner today.
