The hole was caused during the removal of the water tank, it has a bulkhead flange that goes there to isolate the box from the interior of the cabinet.
So even though I sleep with the roof vents and windows open condensation has formed on the plastic box where the propane is stored. This has caused quite the musty smell, some fungal growth and completely soaked the bottom of the cabinetry. Any suggestions on how to tackle this i'm at a loss for...
I removed my porch light as it no longer worked.... I also replaced the ridiculously large halogen flood lights with quad LED spot/flood lights. The LEDs are great for backing up or recoveries at night.
I lived out of my Eagle off the truck for about a month down in San Diego. I recently took it off for a week to do some maintenance to the truck and lived out of it then. I didn't have any issues, but would I do it again? Heck no it was like crawling in and out of a hermit house.
I removed the spacers on my eagle, makes a hell of lot easier getting in to camper. I also removed the front accessory track bar so the camper sits flush with front of the bed.
Does it help with weight distribution? eh... the jury is still out on that issue. But after being rear ended i'm glad...
Running OME HD Dakars + Fox 2.0 Shocks + Fox 700lb Coilovers+ E rated Tires, I also removed the front rubber bumpers to move the weight as far forward as possible. The Eagle is on fulltime and the truck sits level.
Pelfreybilt Offroad makes a mount designed for a swing-out bumper that I use. The mount is welded to the center of the bumper where the ball hitch would go.
