On my 80s fleet camper is the front of the camper frame wood from the window down or alloy all the way down?

Got some work done today. Replaced the corner trip and ran some 1/8” angle aluminum along the bottom sides for some reinforcement and fixed a crumpled corner of the camper with some more aluminum. She won’t win any beauty contests but she is in better shape now

Does anyone have a detailed picture of how the canvas actually attaches to the camper/roof? Is it just the trim holding it against the camper and screwed down?

We buy a permit every year and cut one down. The roof on my 81 is already pretty dimpled.

Some small updates. Got a canvas quote from a local place in Grand Junction. $900 bucks for 10oz Sunbrella canvas with 4 windows. I would still install. The camper speaks to me and I think it would be worth it. Replaced some hardware and made a new spring for the lower bed extension supports.

Threw a new doorknob in tonight before it started snowing. My caulking gun is busted so the sealant job is kinda shoddy. Door needs rebuilt

So hanging out in the camper with some tequila and just getting ideas. Someone in the past had the logic to build aluminum lift panels for it which I dig. Does anyone know what could cause the misalignment of the roof when down like this?

Made this harness to go from the factory trailer wiring to the pre existing 4 pin lead to the battery that was in the camper. I wired it off the aux 12v charge terminal in the 7pin adapter. This, in theory, should charge the battery while driving the truck.
