RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West thoughts on this solar set?

The panels look to be quality. I guess my first question would be, are you going to mount them both on the top of your Eagle? 38lbs will make your roof very heavy to lift. Another consideration is what are you planning on powering up that you would need so much power. This system would...

MarkBC, I have a 65 watt Kyocera solar panel that I use on the ground instead of the roof. I like to park in the shade and be able to place the panel in the sun. I made adjustable legs that work pretty good on keeping the panel into the sun. I am working and away from home this week...

Problem...1 Took the camper out this weekend nothing like a little rain and snow to appreciate not sleeping on the ground. Went over to Cody and checked out the museum dogs and all, it was pretty nasty out and we would pop up the camper and have lunch and take breaks in the parking lot, the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Any other suggestions on front lift repair?

Great post and info. Just one quick question, what size rivets and length do you use? I am using quarter inch birch for my new panels, but have never used a rivet gun before. I noticed that each size rivet has three lenghts. Did you guys use the short 3/16"? Thanks-skeeter

Maybe all you need is an adapter? Is your Zodi different than mine? It looks exactly the same, with the red handle and brass fittings. I have one more plan before I move on to another projet. I will try the one in the kitchen and see if I can get that to work.

The Dometic fridge consumes 115 watts at 9.5 amps per hour. More than twice as much as the Coleman. Here is a link for the manual; Dometic manual It states that "the engine should be left running while in the 12v mode". Page 6, section 14,b. You need to run on propane when your in camp, the...

I just bought one of those kithchen sparyers from Wallyword and it does not fit on my Zodi. I took the valve off with the red handle and it sill does not fit all the way. I did manage to secure it enough and it doesnt leak, but the water only comes out in spurts instead of a constant stream...

Hey Slojet, I had the three way fridge when I bought my FWC. After going through all the threads about which fridge option would be the best, I decided to go completely electrical. I just didnt like the idea of sleeping above a tank, and living out where the sun shines almost everyday was a...

I am at the point where I need to decide if I am going to remove the rear tailights of my 97' Ranger II. The side wings were easy to remove compared to the rear tailights. It will require some welding and woodwork, but I can accomplish the job no problem. I do not think that the structual...

Hey, I found this on Ebay and thought I would post it. If someone wants to upgrade the fridge/freezer I would recommend this. ebay listing The compressor works on thermodynamics and is extremely efficient. It uses a little bit more energy than the Engel, but is about half the cost. I have...
