RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 3 years later

When I was shopping, day dreaming and imagining buying my Bobcat 3 years ago, I couldn't get enough of photographs of ATC campers. I especially wanted to see the interior and different builds. I'm doing some sorting of photographs and realized I'd created a gallery of pictures of my camper on...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West But it seemed so small...

What wonderful responses! Love it! The end of the story is that it made me appreciate my Bobcat, and understand just how much I loved it! While I'm at it...here's some reflections after 2 years with Bob: I bought and thought I'd be camping exclusively dispersed camping. Turns out that...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West But it seemed so small...

Thought I'd pass this story along... I was camping in some desert area for a couple days and one night heard what I assumed was a mouse in the camper. It was annoying, I heard the sound change, turned on flash light and saw the little field mouse running all around my camper, doing amazing...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ATC Financing question

I had a HUGE problem getting financing! They insisted it must have a VIN and a title; I also had insurance problems...I had to have a photo (!!!) before they'd activate the insurance! My insurance agent really went to bat for me with the lender. I'd probably still be trying to get it... Crazy!

Yes the Gila spots are wonderful!! #152 was closed due to flooding that washed out parts of the road when we were there last weekend (!!!), so didn't get to some of the places I'd hoped to this time. Lake Roberts is nice too... One of the amazing things about the desert is that one of the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Kayak rack on Bobcat

Thanks! I have a small "Poke" boat that I've owned for 30+ years that will be retiring soon to make way for an Old Town Dirigo Tandem Kayak. Hope to mount a small electric motor (Skimmer maybe) on it at some time. It will also be outfitted to stabilize a small tripod with a heavy lens on it -...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Kayak rack on Bobcat

Thanks to advise from Jimixsm, I just installed a set of Malone Wings on my factory roof rack. Here's some photos... There is just 3/8 inch gap between roof surface and bottom of bolt or wing nut, but Marty says it's enough. Heck of a lot cheaper than installing a system... Thanks Jim!!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West One Year Anniversary! Meet Bob the Bobcat

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West One Year Anniversary! Meet Bob the Bobcat

A few more... The photo of several people inside was a day when it rained and 4 adults and one 6 year old grandson squeezed into the camper for tea and cards! Couldn't dance, but we were dry and happy! As is #1 grandson in the single photo of him!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West One Year Anniversary! Meet Bob the Bobcat

Hello, It has been one wonderful year since I drove to Reno to pick up my Bobcat from Marty. The guys did me very proud!! I have a "mini dinette". As you can see, I have the (normal) bench; then it can be converted into a small table; or it can be left open and a toilet can fit in the gap...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Great Bobcat

I have had my Bobcat for 3 weeks and 3 days, and I've not yet stopped grinning! I am extremely pleased with the build and the use. My wife went from "tentative" to "enthusiastic" overnight! (That is a very big deal by the way...). For me, it is the fulfillment of literally decades of...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Virgin Bobcat shakedown (redundent?)

Thanks to each and all for your responses. Seth, the Frontier is 6c, 4x4, automatic; I added Firestone air bags, and upgraded tires (can't recall the specs right now). I also installed the Revelco anti-theft system. When driving, there is very little if any difference in the drive with camper...
