RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propex Heatsource Furnace in pop up camper.

yes, looking at the Whale, it appears that the bracket allows mounting in different positions. that would help for different configurations. I wonder how long the air inlet can be? Appears to be pretty short, so that might limit some areas for mounting. A bit bigger than the Propex, but not out...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propex Heatsource Furnace in pop up camper.

Hi Ski: cannot get the photos uploaded here. let me know if someplace else works. I like the looks of the Whale Heat - that might be an interesting option. With your small camper, it might be overkill.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propex Heatsource Furnace in pop up camper.

have had two Propex furnaces - first in ATC Ocelot and second in ATC Cougar. both pretty bombproof although the first did need a switch replaced at RV dealer for about $350.00 - that's when I found out they recommend starting the heater up monthly which I had not done over the winter. Have...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Water intrusion

newer Cougar (two years old). Sealing the windows is a seemingly never ending battle. I have decided to take the window covers and USE them when in heavier rain to help out with that situation. Did seam seal inside and out, but with all the flexing not sure how long it actually is good for...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Cougar or Puma Shell?

we bought a 84" Cougar shell that we built out. Two people and a 70# lab dog. for months long trips we like the 8' bed and full size of 84" gives us lot's of room. We have taken it on 4x4 roads in the states and Baja, but we do drive slowly and carefully but do not notice much that causes us...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West The Good, the almost bad and the not so ugly

Ah, monitors. Last fall whilst bird hunting in central MT. at exactly 2356 (11:56 PM) the propane alarm goes off. Oh boy. got the dog out of the camper and propane turned off. 45' later had the cabinets taken apart, all propane connections tightened (found the culprit) and everything back...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Mounting Recovery boards

Have had the Go Treads for a few years. work very well as levelers and have used them on another persons rig in snow to get them out. worked fine for that. I did have concerns about the flexibility as opposed to the solid nature of the other boards but at least in this one instance in soft snow...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Side dinette vs rear dinette vs ?

We built out an ATC Cougar shell and made a side dinette with a table as part of the bench. But we rarely end up using the table and generally just have the bench in place so we have room for two humans and a 70# lab on the bench. works for us.
