Looks to me like your Rocket Box is pulling the top up to it. Shim the Rocket Box as needed and I bet your problem goes away.

Nevadamerica: If I understand your question, it looks like you could just peel the skin back and have a look. If you trim it, you will likely loose your tail lights...no biggie. Take a look at the old Grandbys and see how the owners trimmed back the part of the over the wheel wing to fit newer...

I did not buy the kit from FWC, as my FWC is ancient. However, I did buy the lifts and brackets listed in the big thread. The price came to about $125.00 from Amazon with free shipping. Very easy to install. I used 8 (remember this!, its in the thread...) angle brackets and 4 40 lb. 36"...

I also sent Brenda an email. I got a response but she couldn't gie me a date of manufacture. My serial number is 13962, so that should tell you the number of digits. BTW i found the S/N handwrittenn on the inside of a piece of siding, along with the word Grandby.

JaSAn: The motivation came from the fact that if the camper was done enough to use, I wouldn't have to sleep on the ground or in the truck, both of which add up to a miserable night for me. Your build looks great! P.S.: shhhhhhh! Don't tell the snow god he/she has been slacking!
