Apparently the Dometic RM 2354, 3 way is now a RM 2354 RB1F, has something to do with the cooling of the unit, and they have added 1 or 2 fans to help with the cooling. I will call the manufacturer tomorrow and get a update. I'll pass it on. Funstini

Yeah, the unit was sitting upright for at least a couple weeks before it was turned on. Got it through West Marine and know they will exchange it. A big hassle in taking it back out and returning it though. So you're thinking it is defective huh?

Back again, always when I need help. Thanks for being there. I installed a new Dometic CR-110, hooked everything up and it is throwing out a 3-flash code on both AC and DC. Unplugged everything to reset the unit and still has the code coming up. Of course there's no tech support for this...

Never thought about it before, but I leave my camper in the driveway with solar panels charging and with no electrical draw except for the two alarms. After the batteries are fully charged it goes into a "trickle" mode. Is this wearing down my batteries over the long haul?

Yes. The inverter itself consumes power and the larger they are, the more it uses. I have done some load testing between a 300 watt and an 800 watt to run my Sat. dish and TV. Almost an amp more using the 800. An inverter should really be sized to match the load you want to power. Thank you...
