With an 8' bed you can close the tailgate with the camper in the bed. What bed do you have ? I have seen them in short beds with the tailgate down. I was wrong on post above. I did not have the Fleet on the 2000 K2500 ccsb. I sold that truck before I got the camper.

I replaced the front half of my canvas/vinyl on my Fleet about 5 years ago. Used the glue ( it was HH66) seems to be holding well.

Welcome to the forum. Are you looking for a new Fleet or an old one ?( I don't have either for sale ) but it might make your search easier. Did you read the tips on here about buying a used 4wc ? If the price is right they sell very quickly . Good luck on your search.

I am looking at a Grandby that has 2 tone brown stripes and a house type door knob. They say it is an 89 model. Do stripe colors indicate year models or could you get any color any year?What years did they use house type knobs? Latch types ?Thanks for any help Wes
