A friend just got a new Hawk and the dealer showed him this cam strap trick of threading it through both turnbuckles so they don’t loosen up. Any thoughts on it? Im not sold on it yet.

So I got it shifted. Wound up removing turnbuckles and putting one jack on to use as a handle. Took hardly any effort to slide it over and back with just a little pulling.

Yeah our drive way is not flat and is older brick. I think this is why I can never quite get it perfectly centered. I noticed it was maybe an inch from the rubber stops on one side and touching on the other, and it shifted to one side. I'll put the jacks back on and see about lifting it a touch.

I noticed that my camper has shifted over to one side of the bed and I'd like to try and get it back centered if possible. Anyone have a method that works well and doesn't involve taking it off and putting it back on? Thanks!

Interesting - never used a sewing machine. I’ll be curious how it performs for you! I do like the window openings in the factory ones - which I imagine would take a bit more work.

Yeah I know we’ll still have moisture…hoping this would aid at least a little. Not terribly adept with a sewing machine or I would try.

After my recent trip and all of the condensation I got in the camper each night I'm starting the search for a thermal pack. They're upwards of $900 new for my fleet which currently is a bit out of my budget due to house projects. Anyone ever had luck with finding them used? Thanks

Yeah I’m thinking I need to air them down some. I have a fleet shell and it’s not terribly loaded down. Dry weight is 900 and we use a 7gal water jug. 20lbs of propane for a he added stove.

Also curious roughly what psi you’d recommend on a Tacoma with a fleet? I’m at around 88 right now.
