I'm sorry I'm missing something in your description. Getting older and dumber I guess. Your bracket description and drawing are very helpful. Except from what I gather, I don't understand where you have to raise the camper to use the bracket. On my 10', back is almost 2 ft beyond flatbed.

I would jack the top up all the way, wipe the exterior slides and then spray some lube on them before replacing any o-rings. BTW, are any of the latter leaking? Mike I used to have that problem. I replaced with the larger newer pistons. Used to be a problem going up too. No more problems now...
