    Hi Folks , Have Hawk FWC, would like to get some suggestions regarding an awning for the rear of the camper only ( the prices on the batwing and side awnings at FWC have gone through the roof); any brands you would suggest ?     Hi fellow campers, that day finally arrived where 2 screws I used to secure addtional cabinet on the passenger rear side found their way through the shell exterior; thought I was safe using 2 predrilled holes that FWC put in for the fire extinguisher mount---lessons learned duh!!! Pilot holes...

    Thanks for all the grreat feedback, decided to go with Tricam hitch due to price size etc. I have a CAR step that goes into the hitch presently ,just one step but it is sufficient .

    Just got Hawk shell camper and am outfitting it; question--does anyone have experience using a rear trailer hitch cargo carrier and what are your thoughts (besides the access to camper door factor). Thanks much, great group and great info. Have Dodge Ram 2500 with hawk shell. Phil
