    Exterior Reflectix

Thanks for all the replies and thought on this. Work all of the sudden really got in the way and I haven’t purchased and materials to work on this project, yet. Temps have also stayed in just the double digits so I haven’t felt like my camper has become an oven yet.

    Exterior Reflectix

Does anyone put reflectix around the exterior pop up material to help keep things cool inside? Curious if it is worth the little extra time and money to make some covers to help keep things cool inside when parked for a few days.

    Portable Power Stations

Thanks for all of the input and thoughts. This is the type of info I was looking for. Love this forum so much! When I originally started looking into this I thought it was maybe a slightly cheaper and easier way to get into a LiFePo battery. I currently have zero solar, stay plugged into shore...

    Portable Power Stations

I assume you have a separate power system. I am thinking about using a power station instead of a more traditional battery system.

    Portable Power Stations

I am curious if anyone is using a portable power station (EcoFlow, Jackery, Bluetti or others) instead of a more tradition battery system. After years of planning, re-planning, not worrying, and again planning an upgrade to my electric system. My electric uses are pretty minimal, pretty much...

Picking up my new (to me) Kestrel! (Help please)

You may want to look at putting it on a trailer. That way you don't have to worry about putting the eyelets in the right place. You don't have to rush building the riser box.

    Need help pricing a Keystone

Yeah I meant to mention that part of it. There was another keystone on here that was completely gutted for sale at $4,000. It was sold but unsure how much for. I would price yours at what you paid for it plus any upgrades / work you have put into it.

    Need help pricing a Keystone

You sure don't see many Keystones out there. Its always nice if you can find something similar to what you are selling to get a price range. There is a pretty nice looking one in the Denver area on craigslist for $1800 right now. It looks a little rough but really good for what seems to be all...

    L-Track installation

I installed some Ltrack on the floor to secure my branch seat. I can pretty quickly take the bench out and have a pretty normal truck bed hauling capacity. Just screwed them into the floor and that’s that. If I were a better carpenter I would get the flush ones for a better look.

    Air Purifiers

I put my Keystone upgrade project on hold for a while, mostly to save money in the event the world shuts down again, but am slowly back it. After the wild fires in Oregon last summer I have been thinking about adding a small air purifier. I live in my camper in the summer so that is the indoor...

1980's Four Wheel Camper Fleet Remodel Help and Discussion

I calculated 8 yards for my keystone. 12 /yard is reasonable. Double that I was thinking about working harder to remove all of the glue residue from the carpet that got glued over the original headliner. Too late now though. Tore it all out today!

1980's Four Wheel Camper Fleet Remodel Help and Discussion

I looked at sailright, found the stuff. Was surprised by the cost. I could only find perforated with added foam. At over $30/yard I may just put in the elbow grease to clean mine up. I have a small area that I need to patch. Thought about replacing the headliner with out taking the entire roof...

What portable toilet has the biggest seat and bowl?

I am not sure on exact size but Selway Fabrications makes two great portable toilet. The small one is pretty low to the ground but still better than a wag bag. Just add some water and RTB 780 and you are set. Clean up at an RV dump is pretty simple and easy

    WTB Lift Panel

I have thought about the EMT lifters. I am sold on the simplicity of them but not the look. They seem too out of place in my 86 that I am trying to keep looking original.

    WTB Lift Panel

This is a bit of a long shot but thought I would try. One of the panels in my 86 Keystone is dying, rivets are starting to pop out. The other one is showing some wear, but I have one brand new one and thought it would be convenient to replace both at once. Has anyone had ATC make one for a...

Looking for advice - Getting old, no more tents!

I personally drive an 02 Ram 2500 long bed. Went with a long bed because the short beds were hard to find, and driving/maneuverability felt about the same. I have a fleet of work rigs I drive often and include a 99 F250 long bed, 06 F450, and a 06 Ram 3500. Both Dodge trucks maneuver like...

    Diesel Heater Install

I have come across from quick connects I am thinking about using. Going to talk to my diesel mechanic about what he thinks. We will see what happens. Since it is summer it is sort of on the bottom of my project list. I just installed a new floor and am going to work on the kitchen side of...
