02 Tacoma & 09 FWC Camper Combo

I am surprised to see this taking so long to sell. I have been locking for a unit like this for a while then gave up. Bought a fiberglass trailer instead. Are you willing to see if you have better luck selling my trailer if I trade for your camper. Colorado would have to be the meeting point.

Hi Greg, thanks for the proposal but I'd be out of sorts trying to sell a trailer so I can't say the proposal resonates.

Yeah, Florida is a bit of a stretch to drive for most people who are interested in this type of camper. Most folks who are in / around Florida don't indulge in four-wheeling narrow mountain trails with relatively ultralight campers mounted on back simply because there are no mountain trails here to necessitate this style of camper. Four wheeling here tends towards slinging lots of mud and camping tends towards larger RVs.

As of yesterday, I had one consistently interested enthusiast from up North. However, a previous interested member out in Colorado is scheduling a mechanical inspection for the truck and an evaluation/appraisal of the camper so it seems like interest is picking up.

To be transparent, there are three potential purchasers:

Husband and wife team from Maryland pending sale of their current vehicle
Individual from Colorado who is scheduling an independent vehicle and camper inspection
Husband and wife team from Tennessee who nearly purchased but ran short on time before their vacation - they're back, did not find a camper during their vacation and have re-surfaced their interest.

The 12v accessory plug with rocker switch and indicator light is routed under the console and through a factory-provided all-weather port. The cable is for an electric blanket or other accessory inside the camper which you would like to run while driving the vehicle. I installed it for winter touring at night so I could flip on the electric blanket about 15-20 minutes out from our destination to warm the bed to make the transition from car seat to bed a little easier on Mom.

Pictures of the engine and undercarriage coming soon...work's making it probably another weekend away.

Received notice Friday morning (05 Sept 14) of an overseas assignment starting early Oct. Because I'd like to sell the truck and camper rather than leave it sitting for a year while I'm away, I'm taking offers now. Serious inquiries only, please.

Hi I am interested. I live in Maryland, not too far away. 4 or 6 cyl?
PM me please.

Thanks Charlie

Charlie, note sent to your PM address and to your .net above.

Truck is the 6 cyl 5VZ-FE with NO modifications to the engine.

I got all the power back while the camper is loaded with a differential re-gear from 4.10 (OEM) to 4.88. With the camper fully-loaded, I can still scoot up Loveland or Independence Pass (Colorado) at a great clip.
