2009 Overland Exposition (PICTURES & DETAILS)

I just want to go camping, ride a bit on the bike and have a nice toddy before bed.

There's tequila in a toddy? On second thought, we not?

Fancy Eagle

Hi Stan: I thought I read you were going to put up some pictures of the inside of the fancy Eagle?

Please let us know?

Regards,

Darryl

Most of those rigs will get you where you want to go ok..But if a hurricane comes rippin around the cape, and you can't get away from it, you will suffer like a tent camping bitch.....Not in a FWC! been there, and want to go back!

ok, ok, ok

Here are the pictures you have been asking for.

Sorry for teasing you all with this new design.

I have been swamped and wanted to get DD propane issue taken care of this week before I posted the pictures.

More Details ...

This is a "wider" version of the Eagle Model.
Same floor length (80" long).
But the body of the camper is 74" wide (instead of 69" wide).

This gave us the additional room needed to add a 4 gallon hot water heater w/ outside shower, as well as some other upgraded items.

Picture # 1 = Wide Body Eagle Model (Overland Model) on 2001 Access Cab Tundra.

Picture # 2 = Extended Cab-over bed with 4" thick cushions.

Picture # 3 = Extended Cab-over bed with 4" thick cushions and gas strut lift assists to make it easier to raise the camper roof.

Picture # 4 = Mini Heki screened skylight over the cab-over bed area. Really nice option !!

Picture # 5 = Flat top German appliances opened up.

Picture # 6 = Waeco 2-way (AC & DC) Refrigerator

Picture # 7 = Main Kitchen Cabinets

Picture # 8 = Upscale circut breakers, resetable fuses, and AC & DC monitors.

Picture # 9 = Stereo, One (out of 2) speakers, Furnace controls, water tank monitor.

Picture # 10 = Dinette Table.

Picture # 11 = LED light inset in the camper roof.

Picture # 12 = Full kitchen cabinet view.

Picture # 13 = Bamboo flooring.

Picture # 14 = Dinette Seating.

Picture # 15 = LED entry light & propane sensor.

Picture # 16 = Exterior (drivers side).

Water tank & battery are located front / center, under the front settee of the couch.

German Truman furnace that is "SO QUIET !"

"Tan" fabric for the "pop-up / soft sides" of the camper. A blast from the past.

80 watt solar panel with a BlueSky controller w/ digital readout.

Upgraded cabinet latches.

LED lighting in the ceeling, as well as Fluorescent lights.

Upgraded counter tops.

Hot water w/ outside shower.

oh yea, forgot (thanks DD), also has the radius rear door.

and more im probably forgetting ....

Starting saving your pennies, this one is not for the customer on a tight budget. More geared for the person that wants the best & wants it all & doesn't mind paying extra for it.

:p

NICE!!! Love the subtle changes in cabinets, particularly the door handles.

With this new dinette setup is there actually less available floor room?

I'm curious how the roof assist is working out. From the pictures it seems like it would be in the way in the bed area. DD...what are your thoughts and experience? G

Hmmm, I'm going to look up the details on the skylight. I'm planning on adding a second vent on mine eventually, we'll have to see what that is all about.

I am wondering too if its something to consider retrofitting on or not bother. As is I need to do the lifting since its a bit tuff for the little lady.
