2500 stright axle vs independant axle

I had to look up Misu Fuso. For those who did not know, like me, this is a Mitsubishi Fuso 4x4. It is a cab ahead of engine truck commonly used as urban delivery vehicles. The ahead design increases exposure in a head on collision and, I imagine, sacrifices ride qualities. I encourage forum members to see pictures on the web of these trucks and especially those used as RVs. My Keystone would not be adaptable to one. This is an interesting truck worthy of a new discussion in connection with using it with a popup camper. Thanks for mentioning that one has navigated the White Rim Trail.

We just built a camper for a truck like that.

They are hard to find in the USA.

Diesel w/ 4 wheel drive and a VERY short wheel base !

I wish we would have built a pop-up camper for it, but the customers wanted a "hard sided" camper for their purposes.

The truck looked so darn easy to work on and probably had a long range because the fuel tanks could be as big as you wanted.

The truck does have an odd look to it, but it sure has TONS of potential if you don't mind the looks.
