Air bags for a 2001 7.3 F250 Help FWC Grandby

The F250 has a 6-inch level lift on it and 35 inch tires (bought it used).

Air Lift or Firestone? Above leaf spring or on the axle side? I want to maintain as much axle articluations as possible.

The rear leafs do have the camper springs set up, I run a 2006 FWC Grandy in the bed which drops the bed about 2-inchs.
 
I have a 2000 F250 7.3, no lift, original wheels & tire size. I put airbags on for a hard side camper (3,300 lbs), but feel they are not needed with my Grandby. I wouldn't add the bags just for my pop top if starting from scratch.
 
It sags 1.5 inches on the passenger side and almost 2-inches on the drivers side, when the camper is in the bed. Since the truck is 6-inch level lift, it means the back in about 2 -inches lower then the front, cause the front of the FWC granby to be angled up and act like wing. What air bags did you go with do you level it off completely? How is the ride and articluation of the axle off road? Are the air bags the typr between the frame and the tire or the in board type between the axle pumpkin and the frame?

The bags have been on since 2000, and I don't remember the brand. My guess is Firestone. I don't get much squat with the Grandby on, but run 10 pounds of air just so they're not empty. With higher pressures, the ride is damn rough. My dentist tells me to run them at 90 pounds, he needs more business. I'm not much of an off-road guy, so axle articulation is not a consideration. The road to the racetrack is about as rough as I care to be on. The bags are between the frame and springs.

I've got firestones on mine. They've been on since 06 or so and have been fine. I installed them for a hard side and have proved valuable even for the Grandby on f350 dually. It only takes 25lbs or so to level the truck. A little more when I have the boat to tow. I've also got a small lift on mine and the bags are between the axle and frame. I've never been anywhere where articulation has suffered but I'm not going to wheel a crew cab into anything that will need a lot of suspension travel. If you do, you'll be limiting it for sure. I got jeep for that.
 
Thx for the reply Riverrunner. How big is your lift? Curious Still looking at the options. What size tires are you running? To a look at your pics looks like about 4-inch because it is a f 350 with a spring pack. Did you have to block the back. Nice looking rig. Thx for the help in advance.
 
I did what was supposed to be a 2.5" leveling kit....ended up with 4+ inches of lift up front and had to replace the 2" block in the back with a 4". Not a huge deal but I'm glad it wasn't any taller. I'm running 255/85's KM2's which are a little over 33". With a dually there isn't a lot of choice in wheels and tires and I didn't want to run spacers in the rear.
