Thanks for the heads up on the poles, I'll definately remember to do that.

On another note, I'm in the process of building a wind deflector/fairing for my rig based on information from the WtW forum. I have a Yakima system on there now but don't feel it helped much.

I'm going to move this to the camper forum so we can consolidate all our awning threads.

My Outfitter Caribou 8 has a Fiamma F35 Pro rear awning, but I have not figured out how to use it yet. The poles are up there with the awning, attach to the camper angled back and I still have a tiny brain for all things new. When I get it open, I will report back. The directions within the manual shows two people setting it up. My quesion:

How long will it take for Shady Dog to learn how to assist me in the awning set up?
