It seems music is verboten in a campground while generators are not. The last time we asked someone if they really needed to run the generator all evening he drove his truck around the loop several times honking his horn and sent the camp host to tell me my guitar playing was too loud. I really think all campgrounds need to be generator segregated and that anyone running a generator in a campground so they can watch TV (that tell-tale blue glow) needs re-education (pretty much an entire campground population was conspiring to disable a generator one night - we left dozens of nasty notes on the windshield instead 'cause some of us have a conscience and/or a fear of retaliation/punishment) The reality is that I rarely stay in a campground and I have left an already paid for site on more than one occasion. Thanks for sharing! We do love the rock art. You both really do have a sense of the land and how it likely was some 9000 years ago give or take a few thousand. You probably already have a copy of Steven Simms 'Ancient Peoples of the Great Basin & Colorado Plateau'. It is the single best readable account I have come across of the past climates and peopling of the Great Basin. If you don't have a copy it is very much worth it.ski3pin said:I got 'er done!
