Interesting, especially the part about magnetic fields affecting antlers. Crazy, even if not really relevant.

I think the fact that this buck has very similar antlers again 2 years later argues for the "genetics" explanation.

On the other hand...the big proton collider that I've embedded under the neighborhood -- with it's huge helium-cooled magnets - could be a factor, too.
