Nice rig! Can't wait for mine to be ready.

How does it handle on the lifted truck?
Handles awesome!. It ruled the Rockies like a champ!
Monday, I'm having everything that was altered re-torqued (Follow-up) by the shop that lifted it. The torsion bars will be backed off just a little (1/2") so the ride should be even better.

Thanks

Mornin' in the RMNP.

That looks fantastic. Now I'm champing at the bit even harder.

Thanks, Longhorn and CarlG

Hey Bombsight, from an older topic and feed, how did they hook power to the bed of the truck? Did they drill a hole? I remembered you were concerned on that. Take a pic of that for me please. On a second note love all your picks, I too got the silver spur interior.

To be honest, I haven't even looked at that yet.
I kinda was just thinking, eh I'll check it out when I remove the Hawk from the bed.

.... you have me curious now. Going to go see if I can't shoot it with the camper on ...

Thanks for the posts and photos. I really like the little easy mods that make it yours and normal use of the camper more enjoyable.

If I remember correctly mine has a receiver type box just screwed onto the bed. The box has the cable from the front routed through a factory hole with boot. That said it may just come up over the bed rail between bed and cab??? The power from the camper is just a factory cable and plugs into outlet. Been a bit since my FWC has been out hope this helps a little..

Here are a couple of pics of the plug installed on the truck bed wall. Its located on the front left wall of the bed ...

Bombsight, how did you make the insect screen? I've been using a rubber bathtub drain plug when the camper is in storage. jd
