The Cassiar Highway in northern British Columbia from The Alaska Highway and south to Kitwanga at its intersection with highway 16, west of terrace B.C., is closed today.
There are two spots. One near Bob Quinn, and the other on the spur road to Stewart.
The news this morning said there is not a timeline yet to re open the road. Sounds like washouts.

Too bad for anyone wanting to drive it! We did earlier this summer and it beat the Alcan no contest. Really a worthwhile drive.

Updates on the road can be found here http://www.bchighway.com/report/hwy37.shtml

Sounds like the hot tub at Bell 2, is going full time...

We started down 37 the day of the slid and found about it at the gas stop at Deas lake. With the choice of taking the alcan or to Skagway to catch the ferry. We went with the ferry and have had a nice trip. Now in Victoria waiting to leave on the Black Ball ferry. Our trip is a great wander and we are seeing a lot of country.some we have seen many times before but it's all great.
