Cleaning Cookware

At the risk of sounding preachy, most people are way too worried about bacteria. There is no need to "disinfect" cookware. It shouldn't be infected to begin with, you just ate the food that came out of it and presumably, got the food pretty hot before serving. A wipe with a paper towel and/or rinse with warm water is fine.

Serving plates and utensils need a bit more attention, especially if you're with a large group. Soap and warm water is fine as soap disrupts cell walls. Disinfectants, including wipes, just contribute to the overgrowth of resistant bacteria.
