I bought this off amazon to try in my fridge and it really works great. It absorbs a ton of moisture when I am using the fridge or when I am storing it. It's like a big box of baking soda - but even better. It apparently uses some silica gel to absorb water. Once it is all used up the little beads turn from blue to pink. Then you just plug this thing in the wall and in 1-2 days it's ready to use again.

I also bought the larger one to see if it cuts down on water inside the entire camper at night. I'll let you know how that goes. But for the fridge it does work great.

THX for the tip. I'd not thought of using this type of tech inside an rv fridge... Last trip to a local marine shop here on the oregon coast i noted a product called H2Out... there website is here:
http://h2out.com/products/space-dryers

I found them also on amazon so i ordered an appropriately sized unit for our 12cuft fridge in our fiver. I'll report on how it does.

Cheers,
Thom

I put one of those in my gun safe and a larger one in my teardrop trailer... so far, so good. I like that you can bake the moisture out of the desiccant and reuse it rather than something that's a single use and toss.

I just ordered a 4-pak of the RV size from Eva-Dry's website. It is the one with air freshner that sells for $39.99 or $119.99 for the 4-pak plus $34.99 for shipping to Canada. The plug in for 12-15 hours to dry out and "recharge" the unit that was the deal maker and with 2 RVs and a shed, one can be drying out while other units are at work.
