Exterior Cable TV Inlet

I would like to install this cable TV inlet box on the outside of my Hawk.

My thoughts are to mount this box on the left side of the camper opposite of the cabinets.

My question concerns mounting the box to the side of the camper. Should I be running screws all the way through the camper wall or would screws through the siding be enough?

I installed the same thing this winter. I just used (2) 8x3/4 stainless button heads and sealed the top and sides with ProFlex rv sealant. Mine went in the back wall driver's side and I put the interior plate right next to the shore power wall plate on the side of the fridge cabinet. I also replaced the wire with the RG6 style for full HD. I have a grandby, however with driver's side cabinetry.
