First trip to DVNP questions

The first time I actually saw Death Valley was looking down on Butte Valley from up in the Panamints and asking "What am I looking at?". Answer was DEATH VALLEY!

My first trip was Titus to Furnace Creek. Next day up to Eureka Dunes. Then the last day out to Owens Valley. Along Death Valley Road I kept seeing all these little side roads and wondering why they existed and where they went.

I was hooked.

Thank you! Just came up for air (and fuel, laundry, etc.) in Beatty prior to Titus canyon run.

You guys exagerated about this place. It's nowhere near as ordinary as you indicated. Aguereberry Pt, Padre Crowley Pt with live F-16 and FA-18 flyby thru Jedi trench (Rainbow Canyon), Wildrose & charcoal kilns, Badwater, natural Bridge, Artist Drive, & Palette, + others, just since Monday night camping at Mesquite Springs.

Oops, salad just arrived. Been craving something green & fresh for a few days.
