While driving is it ok to have the fridge running on DC power? Will it drain the aux. battery faster than it gets charged?

Thanks,

Gary

Yes, it's okay to run the fridge on 12volt while driving, but you should turn it off during rest stops of more than ten minutes or so, then turn it on again when you resume driving. The fridge does not pull more power than the generator is putting in via the charging system. I have found that the aux battery charges quickly and fully while driving, even with the fridge running on 12v. See my new post on my fridge experiences.
