GPSMAP® 67i

I have the 66i, which must be its predecessor. I don't see a lot of difference between the two, but I have used it for several years and used it extensively in areas hundreds of miles beyond cell coverage in the north. It has worked very well, and the messaging plans are very affordable in my comparisons. A small annual fee and the ability to choose different data usage plans on a monthly basis turning it on or off as often as needed.

Thank you! We’ve used InReach for quite a while, but it would be nice to have the GPS connected.

I’ve used a number of GPS devices, and come to the conclusion that smartphone apps work better. Except for battery life. But even that is becoming reasonable with slightly larger phones in airplane mode. You need to think ahead and load maps ahead of time though.
