Hawk narrow storage space

Hi everyone, As I continue to "move into" our new Hawk I've been thinking about what can be stored in the narrow space between the Hawk's front wall and the cabinet.

Does anyone use this narrow space to store anything? Ideas, ideas, ideas???

Trash bags, mapbooks, maps, books, skinny people, ant farm, spare anything......

I pulled the table out and leave it at home so I have a small TV tray in that space. Works out better for me than dealing with that table that was always in the way. My tv tray is made of wood but I bet if you found some older thin metal ones you could probably get two in there.
