O.K. I am the new owner of a 1998 Hawk which needs lots of repairs,

FIRST, Can any one give help with replacing the folding pop pup panels?

The best material to use , I would like to keep the panels white.

SECOND, Any ideas were I can get some gray canvas material?

Must more to come , I hope for success and then pass on the knowledge to others.

cheers,

Waterdog

Welcome Waterdog,
I bought a very beat up 97 Ranger II that had rodent holes chewed through the corners. I called FWC but they were a little too busy. I then called ATC and Marty sent me some grey vinyl scrap that I used to repatch all the holes. The glue was expensive, I think about 40 bucks. The rest of the vinyl was good, so I felt it was better than spending a grand to replace it. How bad is your top? Can you patch it up?

The folding lifts are a little more difficult. I bought a sheet of marine grade plywood and used the old panels as a template. I reused all the hardware and finnished it about 2 days. There are some good posts on here on replacing those so I wont go into too much detail. Try google advanced search and you should have no trouble finding several on here. Let me know if you need the name of the glue. -Joel
