This is kind of an old idea, but worth revisiting. I was looking up a contact on my cell phone, which reminded me of this...

With so many people carrying cell phones these days, a few years ago someone, I believe it was an EMT, came up with the idea of including a listing on your cell phone for ICE (In Case of Emergency), which had the phone number to call if you were found unconscious (or worse).

A great idea for sure, but a lot of cell phones are locked with a PIN. I wonder if there is a 911 unlocked function?

Enter in your address book names like Mom, Son, Husband, Wife, etc before thier name and then if they look at it they can call your wife, etc...

When I was in the School bus biz it wasnt difficult to find an emergency contact on someones cell phone by going through the address book. Always got a good number after 1 or 2 trys. EMT's I've spoken too say the same.

Ice is the old acronym for sprain treatment. Oh wait, that was rice. Rest, ice, compression, elevation.

Reminds me of every coach/trainer I had in high school. No matter what the injury, it was "just tape and ice it. You'll be fine."
Sprain an ankle? Tape and ice.
Dislocate a shoulder? Tape and ice.
Arm fall off? Tape and ice.
Concussion? Tape and ice.
Eyeball pop out? Tape and ice.
Oh, the good old days (when that actually worked) :D
