Can anyone speak to the quality and operational qualities of the Magma Wilderness Gas Grill. I would also be interested in a comparison to the Weber Q100. The Magma has significantly more BTU at 11,200.

Looks cool. I like MEC and used to buy from them.
Does the Magma fit under the bench seat? My Q100 just fits under the seat in my Hawk.
Minor nit: no piezo. I love the instantaneous firing of my Q. Click, ka-boom! :)
Last quality issue: The Q comes with a cast iron grill, which is tight enough for us to grill veggies, fish and the like. What's the grill situation on the Mag?

We just recently bought this grill: http://www.magmaproducts.com/Products/Marine_Products/Gas_Barbeque_2/Gas_005/A10-205/a10-205.html along with this stand: http://www.magmaproducts.com/Products/Marine_Products/Gas_Barbeque_2/Gas_005/Gas005_Mounting/Gas005_650/gas005_650.html and could not be happier. My wife is a self-proclaimed "foodie" and she really likes it. We looked at the rectangular Magma's while at West Marine, but she choose the round version. Takes maybe two minutes to have it set-up and lit. We store ours in one of the under-dinette compartments. Eventually I would have an attachment on a tire swing-away for it to fasten to ala a life rail boat mounting.

Still doing my homework on this one. The nice thing about MEC is that their return policy is flawless. If it breaks or you simply do not like it ... return it no questions asked ... any time. My local store does not have one in stock. I will see if they will bring one in for me so I can look at one in person. I am really considering the Q100 but I am drawn to the higher BTU of the Magma.

While in Utah we used ours to cook in a Dutch Oven. Well, my wife did. When grilling something it has enough power to turn everything stuck to the grill after cooking to ash. Just would turn all the way up, close the lid, and let it do it's thing for 10-15 minutes. No real clean-up and no mess to clean when you get home.

Have been using a Magma Kettle for years, I have a party size which is propane and a small Kettle for charcoal. The propane model is mounted on folding legs and stored in the Magma Bag under the roll over couch. Great product and replacement parts are easy to get at West Marine. I like the propane for it's easy use, can use it for a oven as well.
