Everyone has a superpower and mine is apparently napping. 
What a great trip this was. In years past when Wander the West rallies were more common I had the fortune to make friends with Simimike. Over the last few years whenever we have planned to be in the general southern California vicinity I have let Mike know our plans in case he might be able to meet up with us. But the short notice, house projects, or work on his rig always got in the way. As usual, I had left a message letting him know we were heading south again. We had also let the Ski3pins know our plans but they had appointments to attend. So when we hit the road for this trip we were under the impression it would be just the two of us. What a wonderful surprise that it turned into a gathering with good friends.
