Need pop up camper for 1500 Sierra extended cab

My son is going to the University of Montana. This summer he plans to create a documentary on the Great Continental Divide Mountain Bike Trail that runs from Banff to Mexico. I've promised to run support for him. I need a dry light weight camper that fits a box that is 78.9 inches long. I've done a lot of backpacking, kayaking and sailing but have never owned a pickup or a pickup camper. I bought the truck last fall and now need the camper. I live in Michigan. Been reading posts after discovering this site and would like to get something with aluminum framing if possible. A lot of the route is on old logging roads. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! I'll let you know what happens. Most likely the film won't be ready until summer of 2012. Have you seen the "Ride the Divide" it is a nicely done documentary on the race that is held ever year. You can find it on Amazon.com.
