I'm looking at a Northstar tc650
On a 00'f250, I don't know much about them, the seller says it weighs 1275 dry, nada saying 1375-1475. Does anyone know if any of these numbers are close?
Thank you

We put a TC 650 on our 2003 Dodge 3500 4x4 quad cab. While I never weighed the camper I did need to install airbags to level the truck. My guess is that when the camper was loaded to travel it weighed between 2000 - 2500 lbs.

I agree. I bet it will weight in that range. Dry weight numbers don't have much to do with reality.

My TC800 (1999) weighed in at 1230 lbs. with 1/2 of the 37 gallon water tank and full propane, exactly what the hand written tag said. They are built SOLID and are light for a "comfort" pop up and have nothing but good things to say about them. My buddy has had his on full time since 2000 with zero problems. They may look like the Palominos or other cheapies but not the case. Not sure why they've gotten heavier over the years....

We have a tc800 for a couple years now. It is a 2004 model and had zero problems. I would pick a solidly built unit over one 15lbs lighter.

Same here. My 2000 has been on two trucks. It's been great. The underbed storage is generous.

Thank you,
Y'all convinced me, I bought the camper matched to a 2k F-250.
Great combo. Very roomy and tons of storage.
