Depends on the condition of the Saline Valley road. When it's been recently graded, you can go in with the family car. But mix in a thunderstorm or two, and snowy passes, and it can be a whole new ballgame.

I have to agree with Paul on that. Crossing the washout before the road crews fixed it was definitely "interesting".
