I took a stroll across Death Valley yesterday, finding this segment of Salt Creek. Note two bridges in the right background. In front of the old bridges are dumps with all kinds of glass, dinnerware whose approximate age I couldn't identify. I think it was a way to build up an old road.

My old phone died today. I just replaced it with a new one. Claims to have a 50 megapixel camera. It will be interesting to see how much better it will be.

It was hand held, too. Maybe a 2 second exposure. I’m surprised it came out as good as it did. Thanks for the kind words.

How do you embed the image full size instead of just an attachment in your post? Put it in your personal gallery then insert image tags?

So, does anyone enhance their photos before uploading them here or saving them?

My last photo was unenhanced. Phone cameras have improved vastly in the past decade. In the past I've felt that the images were dry, bland. So I'd do some minor enhancements in Photoshop on my old computer. With my Windows 10 computer I use Windows Photos, included with Windows. I generally use just the simple, single button filter feature. If the enhancements are too strong and cause issues, I either reduce the filter strength or use the adjustments to tweak individual things like brightness, shadows, highlights, saturation, etcetera. I have an obsession about having the date in my image, sometimes a simple description, so I add that with Windows Paint.
