You'll love it out there in the "Fall". If the weather changes when you are out there (lots of rain/snow) stick to the established routes. A good safe bet is to take 140 from Lakeview and depending on how you feel, go north to Plush and the Hart Mtn NAR,(Hot Springs) FrenchGlen and the Steens loop or keep going to the Sheldon (Virgin Springs CG-Hot Springs) , Denio, Fields the Steens/Alvord Desert area (hot Springs). Lot's of options out there and have a good time.

Just a quick up date on the trip.

Do to a family members illness we changed our plans drastically. We headed straight to Eugene for family support for 5 days and then made a three day trip over to Florence then back to Eugene for family support.

I want to thank everyone for the routes and locations that were suggested. My wife and I will try this trip in the springtime. God willing.
