Hi all!

I hope these strange days find all my WTW friends well!

I haven't updated my no-destination is ages now - not since I told my Fleet and bought a house.
Yep, I now have a home base and no camper. I miss my camper! But it was the down payment on my home and I am so thankful to have landed where I did, when I did.

After I moved back, I decided to move away from IT and go back to school for social work. Working on my masters degree now. I haven't moved too far from computery things tho - I'm currently working on getting grants to get virtual reality training for our social work students and also for community healthcare workers that I engage with through my GA position.

What else? Oh! That three footed dog I found in northern Arizona, I ended up naming her "Kaya" because Kayenta was the closest town to where I found her. I didn't want to have three dogs (well, 2.25 cuz Sully the shih tzu is abt a quarter of a dog) but Kaya and Argos keep each other company and play together all the time. And now, during this pandemic, it's been nice having all the doggie company.

One of these days I'll get another camper. Hopefully sooner than later.
But for now, I'm on a different kind of adventure - one with a definite destination.

Good to hear from you and the 2 1/4 pups. Also, good to see you are still screwing things up (on the house.)
Looks like you've built a nice cover over your snake hideout. Oops, Should I have said that? Looks like a good place to sit on a glider during those summer thunderstorms and sip a cold one.

Hi!!!

So nice to "see" y'all! I'll hafta poke around on the forum and see what all is going on. haha!

I'm enjoying my studies and glad I settled down and went back to school when I did. It was good timing.
I wouldn't have liked to be on the road during pandemic. That said, all this midwest wintry indoor isolation is making me kinda itchy to adventure around. Instead, I have projects aside from school - I'm slowly installing a garage door opener (gotta work on it between classes, homework, GA work, and cold temps), and have a couple other smaller projects around the house. Keeps my mind engaged.

For my GA position (really an RA - research assistantship) I've been spending a lot of my time making presentations on opioid use disorder. It's been very interesting and I have a great team - and we all get to work remotely right now. Thank goodness.

Anyway, speaking of work... I should get to it.
