On the first of March the Lady & I met our friends, the Teds, for a very special trip together. The story and photos are now posted on our blog and can be found here -

Redwoods! - March 2020

I know you won't enjoy the trip as much as we did, but we do hope you come close!

Another awesome TR. Brought back good memories of a trip we took to the Redwoods and Gold Bluffs a few years back.

Thanks Ski for the trip.We last stayed at Burlington CG back when the black out started last Sept.
That whole area is a great place.
Nice to have your TR to bring back memories.
Glad to see Ted out and about.
Retirement is sooo great.
Thanks
Frank

Yes, a trip report to bring back good memories. Great you and the Teds get to camp together. Happy retirement to them!

Ain't retirement grand gang-and a trip to my old neck of the woods to boot (and Plineys too)! Hey "the Teds" you need a snow plow up here to go look for our favorite local wolf pack right now because we are having a real winter again-but keep it on your bucket list, They are still doing good! Hey maybe we need to do a "retirement" get together this summer somewhere?

Thanks Ski3pin for another great trip report. We were quite happy to have the company of two wonderful people on our inaugural retirement trip.

And thank you to those who have wished us a happy retirement. Turns out our timing could have been better, but getting out in our camper doesn't cost much. So we will just have to do that more often.

Ted, we are lucky to have you and Donna as friends! Enjoy retirement! :)

Another great TR. Congrats to Ted on his retirement, glad you got up there before everything got shut down. We had a May trip to the north coast planned. :(

Stay home and stay safe. This will be over but not soon.

Thanks for another great TR. Nice to get so many trips in before the big shutdown. Did you know something no one else knew?! I should be in Mojave Preserve right now but find myself watching backpacking video's on You Tube instead. There's no place like home!!

Oh Lord, Stuck in Alameda County again. Dispersed riparian scene in the backyard, a little bit of this & that mixed together, a lone Redwood stands tall. Trying to emulate it’s steadfast nature, not my inner stir crazy. Nice report, thanks.
