While I appreciate the intent you, however guys keeps citing the 35.43" strut not the 40".
Again search the Suspra site for the size you need or call them to get info.alijabosdotcom said:While I appreciate the intent you, however guys keeps citing the 35.43" strut not the 40".
That sounds like your problem is solved.alijabosdotcom said:http://www.geminigassprings.com/
They are currently custom making me the gas springs. $30cdn. Great customer service.

I plan on doing just that. I don't want to have to bother with them inside.
Marty and the guys over at ATC are doing some research for me and
we hope to come up with something soon. BTW, these struts are cheap and
I'm not going to worry about marine SS struts...so what if they only last
3~4 years rather that 8...easy and cheap to replace.
I just emailed FWC. They will not sell to customers. You have to have the struts installed at the factory or a dealer. I think this is a new policy.alijabosdotcom said:Anyone have a link to SUSPA 40" 40lb struts? Can't find any in canada. Help?
Yes,thanks to "The Saints" from Santa Cruz to finding this mod and making it a "need" item.Squatch said:are too short for the outside. I checked.
I doubt they will be cheap. The 40lb are $95. But at least this gives us an option beside FWC. Driving 3+ hours to the only dealer in the East so I can pay them to do something I can do myself in the driveway is not appealing. FWC seems to forget that their customers are the ones who showed them how to do this mod!!!!!
I've got a Finch and use 34" inside. Does it really take 4" more if they are mounted on the outside?Squatch said:Yep 36" are easy and cheap. But they are NOT long enough for those of us with Eagles and Fleets. That's why the 40" are custom. They just make a few of them.
