For two years we had a trailer called "Kamperoo" made in Canada.
It had a similar style to the "tent" portion.Very spacious inside and easy to tow.
Does this fit on the roof of a car? You should post a photo of it mounted it would be
easier to see how it works.

It goes on your truck bed like a camper shell and folds out as a tent and has usable space under camper for use of bed. Let me know if you have any more questions.
