Paul...
Now you have me looking extra hard for Ghost crabs! Don't think I've seen one but then never looked that hard bc just assumed all were Fiddlers. And we still have billions of single clawed Fiddlers running around OBX.

Fiddler crabs?

Eddie...care to say where you are adventuring?

Hi Bill-

They are Ghost Crabs. They're all over the mid Atlantic seashore. We used to have the kids chase them at night with flashlights....good times.

We camped at Hammocks Beach State Park:

Which is only accessible by paddling or taking a passenger ferry during the summer time. We went in October with our kayaks and there was only one other couple camping there. Pretty special!

Got this one of the super moon last night :)

It was a lucky shot as clouds were everywhere and eventually ate up the moon.... but not until I got a few :)

Where's all the landscapers?

Here's a sampling from the western slope of the Sierra springtime.

Awesome photos Lighthawk! Much better than the view out my window which consists of approx. 2 feet of snow on the ground after another inch or so this morning. No sign of spring here.

Thanks guys.
Yes, photos are from the last week Bridgeport State Park and Table Mountain Ecological Preserve.

Rains will help sustain the wildflowers for a bit longer I think.
