The Landscape Photography Thread

This was a sunset I was able to capture on a remote shoreline near Placentia, Newfoundland last year.. It lasted forever it seemed! We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night but the fog rolled in and we weren’t able to see anything…

One of my favorite camps just outside Reno, 8deg f and windblown snow at sunset.

I was able to view this wonderful photograph when it was first posted and now, for some mysterious reason, it has disappeared. Using my Firefox browser.

Looks like Google photos as a hosting site is pretty glitchy with WTW. I'll have to find a different solution.
My 2¢… Flickr or here for hosting. Caveat, WTW uploads can washout colors on some images.

Nice. Captures the sense of place. And as a bonus: Take nothing but pictures and memories. Leave nothing but footprints.

Monte,

Looks like you picked really close to the same spot for both shots.
Were the truck in the sunset and the camper (?) in the second parked in a campground, picnic area or similar facility?

Sunset colors are incredible.

Paul

Thank you all for your kind comments. :)

Paul, the location is along Nevada SR 374 just east of Titus Canyon Road. The headlights are vehicles driving east from Daylight Pass. We pulled over, walked out into the sage, and stayed for close to an hour as the dramatic light and colors constantly changed. This was taking place to the southeast -
