You have a knack for finding and photographing some cool geology. I guess the angular fragments within the granite are chunks of the volcanics which the granite intruded?

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY !!!

Maybe you guys followed our footsteps ...i did the "nipple" hike on friday 10/26/18 w/ 7 friends (the oldest is 84)....there was no wind and the top was easy to stand on...did not sign the register....

BTW ---your pics are much better than mine...
