We sold our Fleet and picked up the Hawk the next morning.

Shakeout will be a two week trip from Oakland through Colorado

The Fleet was not a shell, it was a loaded 2011. The motivation to switch was a few spontaneous visits to 4WC and an evaluation of our camper wants and needs; we never really used the sink, never really felt the 3-way dometic met our needs, we wanted to change the cabinets/drawers/storage. A typical trip is my wife, daughter (4.5 yrs old), myself, three bikes, hiking gear, possibly climbing gear, which led to a lot of gear schlepping from camper to truck and back again. We like the idea of building the interior to our family needs, we'll just see if my abilities are up to the challenge.
